For Private Middle/High Schools:
Sign up to accept the correct iTEP exam scores for international admissions at your school.
IF your school requires the TOEFL/TOEFL IBT exam then the equivalent is the iTEP Academic Plus Exam
IF your school requires the TOEFL Jr. exam (or the discontinued SLEP) then the equivalent is the iTEP SLATE Plus exam.

Complete the Partner School Registration Form with your institution’s required iTEP score and (most importantly) the contact information of the individual at your institution designated to receive official iTEP scores (Admissions director, PDSO, Registrar, etc.)
Notes for Private Middle/High Schools
Please note your required institutional iTEP score may be adjusted up or down at any time. Just notify us of the score change.
Some schools accept a range of scores because they also consider other admission factors such as SKYPE interview, transcripts, etc. Some schools have no official “required” English language proficiency score. In these cases, we strongly recommend setting a 2.5 (or higher) score as the “preferred” minimum unless your school has a full ESL program. Your school can always waive the 2.5 if the SKYPE and other factors are acceptable.

For Universities and Colleges:
Sign up to accept the iTEP Academic Plus exam for international admissions at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
1. Review iTEP to TOEFL IBT to IELTS test score equivalency chart to determine the appropriate iTEP score for your institution.
Recommended Equivalency Scores:
500 TOEFL/61 IBT = 3.6 iTEP Academic Plus
550 TOEFL/80 IBT = 3.8 iTEP Academic Plus
2. Follow your institution’s administrative process for approval of the iTEP Academic Plus as an approved English proficiency score. iTEP Midwest can provide our ” iTEP Institutional Acceptance” support document to you free of charge. Request this document at itepmidwest@jamesonglobal.com.
